Best time to visit:

  • Avoid rushing to the land if it is a morning with Disneyland Magic Morning. We rode the Millenium falcon on a Sunday (no Disney magic morning) and the wait was 20 minutes. (You can plan ahead by checking the calendar for days with Magic Morning here.) We went back on a Disneyland magic morning and waited 45 minutes! Lesson learned – check the app later in the day during the magic morning Disneyland days and sometimes the wait is 30 minutes or less!
  • Oga’s Cantina is neat although the 45 minutes time limit does feel a bit rushed. A great time to visit is during the time that spans the breakfast options and the later lunch options. This allows you to have a coffee drink as well as a beer if you are interested. This can be a special treat for kiddo – our daughter loved her special star wars drink. Fair warning it is quite loud. If you are waiting for a booth be aware it can be a bit longer of a wait and you will be sat with another group. The booths are big enough for a group of 12.
    • Don’t forget reservations which are now available 60 days out.

Enjoy walking around the land, it truly does feel quite immersive and is well done.

Character experiences – This is something really special about the land. Characters are just out and about. Chewbacca is frequently near Millenium Falcon and we also saw Ray. The stormtroopers can be seen at high vantage points which is quite fun.

The whole land is themed which can make it difficult to find things- use the Disneyland app!
